Rules of Engagement for Collaborative Partners

Insurance Requirements
All collaborative partners must maintain active and adequate insurance coverage, including but not limited to general liability, professional liability, and workers’ compensation insurance. Proof of insurance may be requested at any time and must be provided promptly to continue collaboration with Seriatim.

Independent Contractor Status
All partners operate as independent contractors. No partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship is created through collaboration. Each party remains solely responsible for their employees, subcontractors, and business practices.

Responsibility for Third-Party Liability
Seriatim is not responsible for any damages, losses, injuries, or liabilities caused by third-party vendors or advisors, including those referred to or engaged by our partners. Each partner assumes full responsibility for their own work, recommendations, and third-party interactions.

Client Relationship Boundaries
All partners must maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and discretion when interacting with clients. Partners may not represent themselves as employees or agents of Seriatim.

Compliance With Laws and Standards
Partners must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, industry regulations, licensing standards, and ethical guidelines relevant to their services.

Confidentiality
Any client information shared between Seriatim and a partner must be handled in strict confidence and used solely for the purpose of supporting the client’s project. Unauthorized disclosure is prohibited.

Professional Conduct
Partners are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, including clear communication, timely delivery, and respectful collaboration with Seriatim, our clients, and any involved parties.

Termination of Collaboration
Seriatim reserves the right to discontinue collaboration at any time if a partner fails to meet these requirements, behaves in a manner that risks client trust, or violates any terms outlined here.

No Guarantee of Work
Participation as a collaborative partner does not guarantee referrals, projects, or ongoing work. Engagement is based on client needs, project fit, and professional alignment.
